'Stand By West One' is currently a facebook page, created with the intention of trying to trace some of the London couriers I photographed for a project between 1996 & 1998. The collection of roadside 'headshots' sampled here, grew alongside a core series of large Black & White images of riders lives outside of their work: two of those monochrome images that survived are featured here. Faces from a point in time where you didn't flag up being in the "gig economy" because the money was sometimes, too good. Follow the link to the page in galleries, to see more.
